Trashy Peanut Butter Manhattan

I saw this peanut butter whiskey at Costco a few weeks ago, and my curiosity got the best of me. I decided to bring it home for sampling, and to see if I could come up with a new cocktail. Left with kids isn't really conducive to fancy drinks, so it's a bit low-rent.

Here's how I made it:

+/-2 shots PB whiskey

2 Morelo cherries with about a tablespoon of the juices.

(I got a big jar of them from Trader Joes)

dash of bitters

glass (or mug in this case) of ice.

Since we're definitely not being fancy around here, I just poured in the whiskey, tossed in the cherries and dashes of bitters, and gave it a stir.

You could definitely dress this up by shaking it and serving it in a proper rocks glass with a proper large ice cube.
